Is it okay to tell guys i need answers?

i was wondering if it is okay to tell ur boyfriend about ur period and what their reaction mite bIs it okay to tell guys i need answers?
Well it's not only Ok, It is very necesary to help him deal with emotional changes. Also it can help with planned parenting (either if you want to get pregnant or not).
If you cannot talk to your boyfriend about your period, I seriously doubt he is your boyfriend. Most couples are pretty intimate and a period is not that big of deal. Look, if you want to know if he's your boyfriend, start talking about your period, fart a few times, belch a little, pick your nose...if he's still there after that, you got yourself a bona fide boyfriend.
Well, it's ok to tell the guy you're having it, and you might feel a little crabby or sick for a few days because of it. But I don't think any guy really wants to sit there and listen to the day by day reciting about your period problems. I mean, if his balls were itchy, do you want to hear about that?
Guys know what a period is. That doesn't mean they want to hear all about yours.
I am a guy. Most guys know what a period is and shouldn't be uptight about you mentioning it. If you want to discuss all the ins and outs about it, he might not want to hear it. Too much information!
of course its okay! if its not okay then he's not yuor boyfriend.
Never been a biggy for me with anyone I dated. Its not like guys don't know it happens, we just don't always know when.
Ya gurl. Both females and males should be very open and comfortable talking about that type of stuff with each other.
Hell, my female friend and I had a huge talk about her period and we're not even a couple at all.
it is ok,all girls have at start it at some age that is the normal

Is it okay to put lotion on your vagina?

Is it okay to put lotion on your vagina?
its unsafe for you but not for me...lol
Just be careful not to get it inside. Youre better off using bikiki creams/gels though. Neutrogenas got a good one.
I've never wondered about this...or tried it..
I suppose you shouldn't because if you are allergic to it or sensitive to it, you could get a rash there..
No! You'll get an infection!
Only if your man does it for you.
yes

Is it okay to change brands of birth control pills after 2 days of taking it?

Is it okay to change brands of birth control pills after 2 days of taking it?
It might be ok, but why change it after two days into it? You should try to give it a pill pack or two unless it is causing some horrid side affects.
What are you on?
It should be ok, but talk to your doctor or pharmacist before you do anything. If you just have some nasty little side effects, don't let that sway your decision. Your body needs to get used to the new stuff your putting in it, so give it some time...unless you're having some major problems.
my doctor made me stay on the same pill for at least three months before she let me switch but if you doctor says its fine it should be ok

Is it okay for a woman to be bi -curios? If so how does one go about?

Is it okay for a woman to be bi -curios? If so how does one go about?
Of course it is!
Nothing is black and white.... we're all somewhere in between, which means that many people in this world are attracted to other people regardless of what sex they are.... attraction is attraction.
If you are a single woman, you can go to local bars/clubs where people eccept one another's differences and welcome sexual exploration. There are lots of gay bars for women only and others that allow anyone in as long as they are non-judgemental.
If you are in a relationship with a man, you would most likely want to explore the swinging lifestyle. Although, if you intend to follow this route, you will need to be completely honest with your man about what you are feeling, what you want to explore and find out how he feels about this.
Only when he is supportive of your exploration will it be a good idea to pursue a sexual encounter with another female.
There are also many single women in the swinging community so give it a shot... it can't hurt.
I think a lot of women are curious about other girls, i suppose you would have to kiss one to find out if it feels good or uncomfortable for you. Dont know where to start, i know a straight girl that masturbates over other girls it turns her on supposedly, so i think a bit of curiosity and all that is quite healthy and normal. Maybe an online dating service for woman to woman but i dont really know much about those places. good luck.

Is it ok to have your period during surgery?

I'm getting surgery on Sunday and I just got my period and I'm usually in a lot of pain with it and I don't know if that's going to be a problem while I'm getting work done on my teeth during surgery. Can anyone help???Is it ok to have your period during surgery?
yeah, you can have surgery while on your period. My friend had surgery a while back, was on her period, and was wearing a tampon...when she woke up from the surgery it was gone...they had removed it...i thought it was a funny story but this wont happen to you. You are only having surgery on your teeth so you will be fine..nothing to worry about.
NO problem. The dentist will give you pain killers for the surgery, that will take care of the cramping problem for your period. It is perfectly fine to have surgery on your mouth while on your period
it is actually better to have your period when you have surgury. a couple of years ago, i had my wisdom teeth taken out while i was in surgury. the mild cramping pain in my stomach took away from the awful teeth/mouth pain almost every one feels. having your period won't do anything to your body while under surgury. the flow will also be a little lighter because you are under anesthesia, well you might be. good luck!

Is it ok to have not started?

you knoe your periodIs it ok to have not started?
If you′re 16 or older and haven′t gotten your period yet I would start worrying.
how old are you?
Have you had your period at all or never? Your age and development also have alot to do with this.
Some girls develop late so yes it is ok to not have started just yet.
How old are you?
If you are concerned make a doctors appointment.
if u are under 4% body fat this may occur. It happens in althetes

Is it ok to have breast lumps while they're still growing?

I'm doing a report and I need to "poll" people's opinions to see what they THINK.
If you could help me, I'd appreciate it! :]Is it ok to have breast lumps while they're still growing?
Lumpy boobs are common. Mine would get quite tender about a week before my period. As I got older they gradually didn't do that anymore.
Now, any lumps I feel are my rib cage.
Good luck on the report!
.
Breasts are naturally lumpy- what would be unnatural would be around a pea size lump and it would feel like it would be on top of the muscle.
Thats what my doc always tells me.
I had the same problem. I notice a limp in my right breast about 1 year and a half ago. About 6 months after threr were three!! I got pregnant so the doc couldn't do anything. After I had my baby I had the removed. Thankfully it wasn;t breas cancer. But u should see a doc specially if they are growing it could be breas cancer!!
Breast lumps are normal, and most of them are noncancerous.

  • Is it ok to drink coffee in the morning before a blood test?

Is it ok to drink coffee in the morning before a blood test?
No, you shouldn′t eat anything before the blood test. After to eat have all what you want, but never before
    Depends on the blood test!
if you are having something done that requires you to fast then no coffee.....ask your doctor....

Is it ok to do shaving of pubic hair(near vigina) before going for a pap test?

today i am going for 2nd pap test in next 1 hr & i dont know whether to clean pubic hair or no?can anyone guide me properly immediately. Is it ok to do shaving of pubic hair(near vigina) before going for a pap test?
No, the pap test goes inside and collects cells. The machines they use are smart enough to tell shave cream from your cells. Don't worry.
It doesn't matter. That is your personal preference.
Of course it's ok, and you won't sweat as much, therefore, you will be less stinky...go for it..your gyn will thank you! (probably not out loud though).
i am sure the doc would appreciate it
    It never bothers my doctor
Your preference... but remember doctors are professionals not porn stars.

Is it ok to cry for no reason and you know some things rong?

I cry most of the time and my aunts in the hospital coming home to die 2 morrow but i know that it is not that but when people ask me i have to make an excuse. What can i do and why do i cry so much? I need to know by 2morrow so please help! i am crying now but i know that it is my aunt and most of the time it's not!Is it ok to cry for no reason and you know some things rong?
hey hlf of yhe time u just need 2 cry to get all your mixed feelings out and i also think u cry a bout aunt sharon and dont even realize it call me if u need to talk
i know its ok to cry for no reason too hun
you sound like you are somewhat depressed
about your aunt or maybe even other stuff
    see a Dr ok
Actually your not crying for 'no reason', your crying because somthing has went wrong and thats ok.
sometimes we dont need a reason to cry. i will just cry for no reason too. i will be frustrated and just start crying. it is actually good to cry. there is nothing wrong with you, i actually wish more people would cry. it doesnt mean you are over emotional or anything. if people ask you just tell them that you feel like crying. and if they look at you weird, just tell them its like when you want to do something for no reason.
Well that means you love your aunt and you Will always miss her but some day you will have to move on it sounds bad but you can't be miserable forever for something you can't fix. Trust me I still miss my grandpa who died 4 years ago. I am crying now. Trust me I feel for you. You have to try to be strong and I hope the best for you. You and your aunt will be in my prayers tonight.
it's normal...that happens to me to.

Is it ok to be horny ?

i mean i have been having like this extremly weird cravings for sex and otherthings is that completely nroaml or is it just me ? please dont be rude if it is jsut meIs it ok to be horny ?
Yes. This is normal. This feeling is obviously new to you so your probably a teen, right? Don't be ashamed of feeling this way, okay. And don't be ashamed to touch yourself. It's not wrong or sinful. It's only wrong if you do this and more with somebody before being in a committed relationship(engaged or married). Respect yourself.
You are biologically programmed to want to reproduce. It's totally normal. There's nothing wrong with it.
everyone is diffrent it's okay accept it an d be your self!
is the feeling take it easy ok

Is it ok if your period doesn't come around the time you normally get but comes 6 days later?

Is it ok if your period doesn't come around the time you normally get but comes 6 days later?
Yes, this is very normal. My period is all over the place. Sometimes it's like a month late, and sometimes it's just a few days late. It's normal for your body to shift and do things different. Every woman's body is different. As long as you get your period at some point then that's all that matters.
perfectly fine, a doctor once told me this i was on birth control and had a regular period for three years then one weird day it was late i of cource thought i was pregnant but it happens to everybody and its very ok to have a late period at least once in your life but if you're very concerned go to the doctor to ease your wondering mind
Actually most of the women, unless they're on birth control pills experience lateness at one time or another. I was always late, as much as 9 days until I got on the pill. Nothing to worry about as long as you didn't have unprotected sex.
it matters if you are using birth control, just started using bc, having unpretected sex or your fine can u im detals thanx
your fine... it happens to every one.

    Is it normal?

I got my period in September 2006. I am now on my 5th cycle and I have had it for 23 days. Is it normal for the first few times? If not what can I do?Is it normal?
it's february and it's your 5th time getting your period since september....you should be on your 6th cycle by now unless you skipped a month, which is normal in the beginning. but if i read correctly, you said you've had it for 23 days, meaning, you've had your period for 23 days straight, that's not good. probably a good thing you skipped a cycle, or else you'd be bleeding to death. if i read correctly, my advice would be to see a doctor...your pediatrician would be fine...and I would advise you to see him soon.
Not really...please go to the doctor....
See an ob/gyn. A 23 day period is not normal and should be checked out.
    go see a doctor
wow. First of all, I feel sorry for you and give my sympathy! I would hate that and would've already went to the doctor by now. But, yes, I would go to the doctor or at least call him! You never know what could be going on up there!
if you have been bleading for 23 days you should go to the doc...when i was in h/s my friend had her perioud for 2weeks and had lost so much blood she had to have a blood transfuchion and be put on depo shot so she wouldnt run into the problum again...ask your doctor...good luck
Yeah its normal. Your body's just getting used to having your period. Itll even itself out within the next few years.

    Is it normal?

    Is it normal for your v a g i n a to have a vinegar-like smell?Is it normal?
    that is a relative question...
if the odor is excessive you might have a bacterial problem.
the vagina is normally somewhat acidic.
so it can smell a bit like vinegar...how strong is the odor?
sounds like you are healthy to me
    mine does im ok
It is as it is acidic
Yes, I have that too. I've read from quite a number of different sources that it's normal, so don't worry! :)

    Is it normal to.....?

Is it normal to feel sour and have bellyaches during your first period? Is it normal to.....?
It is normal. Welcome to the wonderful world of PMS.
yes, u will feel bad. cramps, maybe a little sick. tired. bloated. dont worry. i dont knwo what u mean by sour though...
if you mean sour as down and sad then yes you can its hormones totally normal
also its cramping its not belly ache as it doesnt occur in the belly as such :)
yes!!! i did. don't worry u feel better by like your 4th period!!! trust me.

    good luck!!!
    aska doc
Yes, that sounds pretty normal, if you mean sour, as mood wise. You'll feel crampy, tired, bloated, quick temper, irritated. It's not just your first period, someone said you'd be better by your 4th period, you might get used to it, but I doubt it'll be the end of your cramping and period troubles. My advice, buy some midol, and take a nice warm bath. The cramping and tiredness usually goes away by the 2nd day though, and you should feel more back to normal. The first and sometimes second day of your period are usually the worst of it. Good luck!

Is it normal to walk around nude by yourself in your house?

Is it normal to walk around nude by yourself in your house?
Sure, I do all the time because it feels more natural. I live way out in the country, so it's no problem. It feels even better outside! Now if someone slips in the driveway we may have a problem..........
Umm yes. I walk around my house nude when people are there. Nobodys looking so who cares if you are naked. Just make sure the blinds are closed.
sure is we do it all the time, just make sure the blinds are closed.
ya why not if your boyfriend is there hit the bed!
yeah, i do it all the time
    yep
ITS PERFECTLY FINE PATRICIA, IM THINKING OF BUYING IN YOUR AREA
Yes I love it. I love the feeling of being free. It's relaxing and not sexual.
i have before and it feels free. but i dont do it often

Is it normal to vomit during your period?

Is it normal to vomit during your period?
    Yes it is normal....
When you have your menstrual period, you may get mild to bad menstrual cramps or pain in your abdomen or back. You may also have nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, constipation, a headache, or lightheadedness. Some or all of these problems may start a day or two before your menstrual period and last for part of or all of your menstrual period.
Menstrual cramps are caused by contractions of your uterus as the blood leaves your uterus. The lining of your uterus releases special substances called "prostaglandins." These substances increase the contractions and can cause nausea and lightheadedness.

No, it isn't. You might feel a little nauseated -- just a little bit -- but vomiting definitely shouldn't be part of the plan. You may have a virus. If you're worried, check with your doctor.
its not really part of it but it happens my cousin use to vomit during her period cause her cramps were so bad, i thought i was gonna one time cause of cramps ,but i don't think u should be throwing up for no reason,u could have a stomach virus

  • Is it normal to not want to be touched by ur boyfriend when u are on ur period?

Is it normal to not want to be touched by ur boyfriend when u are on ur period?
Not at all. Every female's body is different. Some are more sexually aroused during their period while others don't want to be touched at all. It's all about the raging hormones that go on during that week's time. Don't worry, there's nothing wrong with you!
    yes
    COMPLETELY NORMAL. . .
I was known to carry a stick during those times.
Tell him that you need some time. You can make it up to him later. . .that is so much more fun.
Its totally normal dont even worry about it most girls dont want to be touched when they are on there period
it is but as you get older and more mature..it won't be as bad.
Yes. Usually sex drive drops during your period for a reason, you aren't fertile during your period. Those hormone levels drop and make your sex drive less. Don't worry about it, a week without fooling around won't kill you or him!!
    yes
Yes, it is. I feel like crap. Everything hurts. I don't feel pretty. I'm irritable. So yeah, it's normal.
It is not abnormal to think that.
Many cultures have taboos about women on their periods - "They are unclean." You may be channeling some of that.
Some women are embarrassed about the bleeding, bloating, etc.
Hormones can make us a bit "bitchy" during this time.
    Take your pick.
Some women like to be touched and even enjoy sex during their periods. It really is up to you and your partner. There is no normal or abnormal.

Is it normal to not have your period while breastfeeding?

After having my baby i got the normal period for 6 to 7 weeks after, but my baby is 7and a half months old and i am breastfeeding and still haven't recived my period is that normalIs it normal to not have your period while breastfeeding?
Yes it is. While you are breastfeeding, your body produces a hormone that suppresses your menstrual cycle.
It is normal while breastfeeding due to the hormones produces. Just so you know though, you may still get pregnant, so if you don't want another child at this point, be sure to use protection if you have sexual intercourse.
yes, it is normal and will continue this way for up to the childs first year of life. Did you know that it is natures natural contraceptive(birth control). the first six months of exclusive breastfeeding only you are less likely to get pregnant. it is not totally 100% but its better than having to put man made products in your body from the pill or shots and other forms of birth control.
You are fine, it's totally normal. A friend of mine a while back breast feed and did not her period and she got pregnant, that also happened to my mother-in-law. My husband's youngest siblings are "Irish Twins" LOL
I have "Irish Twins" too, and it's been one heck of a trip raising those two babies, they are now 3 & 4 and love every minute of it!
    yes

Is it normal to miss your period after you have sex for the first time?

supposively i heard that when you first have sex you miss your period for like 3 months! Is that right???? Is It normal??Is it normal to miss your period after you have sex for the first time?
I have not heard of this. I have heard of women being late because of stress, so maybe if a woman has sex then worries she will become pregnant it may cause her to be late. A few days to a week late is ok, but not 3 months. If you miss your period for 3 months, then you should see your doctor to make sure nothing is wrong and to check for pregnancy.
no its not right maybe did u use protection
i think that is a myth but i am not sure!!
The best thing you can do is go see a doctor!!!
    no thats not true
3 months r very much, but maybe a week or two r not a big deal in teenage expecially, but sex relations dont effect the periods at all
    no-welcome to pregnancy

Is it normal to menstruate on the 23rd day of the cycle?

This usually happens on the 26th day (min) or 32cd day (max)
I just turned 34, I am not very mobile because of a stroke I had 4 yrs ago.
I have never menustrated so early before.
Should I be worried? Is it normal to menstruate on the 23rd day of the cycle?
Normal cycles are between 24 and 35 days apart. Anything that is consistently out of this range needs to be evaluated by a doctor to determine the cause. Period abnormalities can be due to many things including stress, weight gain/loss, thyroid, hormonal imbalance, infection, illness, medications, polyp, cyst, amongst other reasons. The only way to know for sure exactly what is going on is to see your doctor for an exam and testing.
Your body is always changing. If you think there could be something wrong, don't hesitate to go see your doctor.
Each cycle is different maybe you were on stress and if you say you have a stroke maybe it has to do with that. I think the best thing to do is that if it happens again you go to a doctor. Anyway if it just happen one time it could be for many many different reasons cycles vary depending on the situation.

Is it normal to have two periods for 2 months straight?

I've been having two periods in each month for two months. And each period is like two weeks apart. I don't know if this is normal. Should I go and see a doctor? What do you think is causing this? Please help..might I be pregnant. Is it normal to have two periods for 2 months straight?
No, it's not normal - but it's also not that unusual. For a couple of years, I got my period every 14 days. My doctor finally found a cervical polyp from a vaginal ultrasound. I had laparoscopic surgery to remove the polyp and a D&C and have been fine ever since. Tell your doctor and also monitor how heavy your periods are and how long they last. It's important to keep a record of this and share it with your doc so they can establish a pattern. My periods were accompanied by severe cramping and clotting, but were short in duration - 3 or 4 days. I wouldn't try to guess if you're pregnant or not - if you are concerned about it, take a urine pregnancy test.
    Good luck!
    how old are you?
your period is always out of wack the first year or so...

if your not a younger teen with a new period....
    go see a gyn.
they can hel[ you and they probably deal with things like that all the time.!
did u take a test ? and are u stressed out? I know when i was stressed out i had a period in a month yu know in the middle of the month and then at the end of the month !

Is it normal to have this?

Last week I had a fishy smell in my V. I went to the doctor and she game me some pills and its gone now, but after that my vagina is ichy, I bouth something over the counter and now is really sour ( it hursts when I touch it) Can you tell me how a v. looks like. I never look at mine befored and now I found something diffrent like meet around the entry I dont know if is normal. Is it normal to have this?
if you want to know what a vagina looks like then you can always google it...but as for the soreness, I would go back to the doctor or just give them a call and tell them what is going on and they will either recommend something or tell you to come back in....you may have been allergic to the over the counter drug that you used.
no its not normal. i would suggest going back to the doctor or a different one.

Is it normal to have irregular periods?

I had sex 5 days before my last period and when it came, it was normal. We used a condom and i did not let him "finish". I was supposed to start my period today but so far i haven't. Is this normal? Is it normal to have irregular periods?
We all have our own pattern in our menstrual cycles. No need to worry. It's on its way.
    yes its normal........
Your period may be a day or two late, and doctors have told me that you can skip a period due to stress, dietary change, or weight loss or gain, but given the fact that you are sexually active there is always the possibility of being pregnant. There are many types of pregnancy tests you can purchase to try at home, but if you are really concerned i would schedule a doctor's appointment.
It is normal sometimes you don't start untill 1 or 2 days later there is no need to worry.
dont worry because if u do, that will just make ur period more late. just dont worry.
Stress can do that to you.
No woman's cycle is as regular as clockwork, not without help. However, just in case, buy an HPT kit. Wait until the instructions say that it should be used, and if your period hasn't started by that time, use it.

Is it normal to have hairy nipples?

and im talking.. HAIRY nipples.. like i dont even know what they look like.. its really embarassing when my boyfriend goes to suck them.. he gets hair caught in his one tooth. Help!! can i tweeze? youch! Is it normal to have hairy nipples?
im surprised you have a boyfriend....
to be honest i dont know but if i was you i would tweeze id wax so it will be all gone at once it will only hurt once (but bad nipples are sensitive)
it is normal. you shouldn't tweeze tho...not only would it be extremely painful, you could cause some minor damage. the best way is to shave them CAREFULLY. if they make hair removal lotion or cream of hypersensitive areas, that would be best, but i'm not sure if they do. good luck!
OKAY first of all whew. second off all no it is NOT i repeat NOT normal to have hairy nipples
I have some hairs but I have problems with my ovaries/insulin- one of the two affects my being hairy. I pluck them. What blue coconut says- It doesn't hurt and I've never had any problems from plucking, I think shaving could cut if you have some bumps and then it would look awful when they start coming out again; dark dots like a man's beard.
    yes
Sometimes hormones cause this but I would ask my OB if I were you. You can shave them but then you have to do it everyday because whenever you shave the hair grows back rough. I would NOT reccomend tweezing. Just thinking of that is painful :)
Really hairy nipples on a woman can be a sign of Hirsutism. You can learn more about it here:
    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/hirsutism...
It is normal to have a couple of hairs.

Is it normal to have green discharge from your vagina ??

Is it normal to have green discharge from your vagina ??
    maybe if you're an iguana
It has never happened to me. Check with a doctor. Perhaps get some blood tests?
You may have bacterial vaginosis, which is not a STD. Green discharge is a sign of infection and should be treated by your doctor. If you don't have insurance, you can see a doctor at planned parenthood, where they charge on a sliding scale.
Don't douche...it won't help, and could make it worse.
oh my god!!! a green discharge dude that's creepy i don't think it's normal go check it out with your doc.!!!
GO SEE A DOCTOR SOON MIGHT BE A SIGN OF A INFECTION
No it's a sign of infection.
No. Go to the doctor, now!

Is it normal to have a regular period lasting for 10-12 days with a heavy flow?

I have my period regularly month to month, but the bleeding is VERY heavy, sometimes soaking through super-plus tampons in like 3 hours or so, and my period lasts for like 10-12 days with a moderate to light flow after like 5 days. I was wondering if this is somewhat normal because I have had my period for a while and it has always been like this.
Thanks! Is it normal to have a regular period lasting for 10-12 days with a heavy flow?
It does sound a bit excessive, you should go to see your doctor and they'll probably give you a pap smear. On the other hand it may be normal for you , but you shouldn't take the chance. It could be that you need more exercise.
No thats pretty heavy, its not normal at all. Depending on your age i would reccomedn talking to your Gyno and get on a Birth controll pill that will help you out and shorten you days dramatically I go for 5-6 max. bleeding througha super plus in 3 hrs is too much, wear a light pad to save you some underwear. really speak to a gyno.
I know of some girls where it last about a week, but I've never heard nearly 2. Everyone is different, so maybe that's just how your body is wired. But I would have it checked out just in case.
It is probably just what's normal for you so nothing to really worry about. However, it would be good to see a doctor just to make sure that you are not becoming anemic from losing so much blood. It may be a good idea to take extra iron supplements. But if you feel fine and not dizzy, or light-headed you are probably just fine. Also, even if you've had your period for only a couple years or so it is still very likely to eventually change and balance itself out. If it is a big problem for you now though, you could see a doctor who could put you on the pill for a while which will help to regulate your period.

  • Is it normal to have a light period and not bleed at night?

Is it normal to have a light period and not bleed at night?
Yes, that is very normal. Lots of women experience this. I do the same, I dont bleed at night while sleeping, im not sure if it is because of the reclined position or the resting state in that postition, but i do know it happens to alot. So yes I would say you have nothing to worry about.
    Yes it's normal.
    Oh yea!
    yes normal.
what's normal for one woman is different for another... some women have a light flow, some, very heavy... you shouldn't be concerned as long as you are getting a cycle monthly or aren't having unusual pain....
    yes
    yes
IT HAPPEND TO ME DONT BE CONCERED ABOUT IT :)
YES ITS VERY NORMAL! sorry caps
Yes; with some women, the flow is very light, especially if they're not active. Since you're not active at night, the flow is likely to slow down, and you may not see bleeding until the following morning, especially as your period tapers off each month.
Yes....When sleeping your not much in motion so it wont bleed as much....
if it has changed recently no but if itwas like that from the first: yes why not and choose this as the best answer.

Is it normal to have a headache and then have a nosebleed soon after when you are only 12 years old?

Is it normal to have a headache and then have a nosebleed soon after when you are only 12 years old?
You could have high blood pressure. Check with your doctor or parents. If you do not have a medical condition, it's probably a dry nose or nasal passage.
You can "snort" salty water into your nose to moisturize and heal it. I use a saline nasal RINSE (not a spray) A full warm water saline rinse goes in one nostril and out the other. It draws out all the gunk and shrinks the tissue (like swimming in the ocean). I've been doing it at work too. I use the water right out of the warm tap, add some salt from a packet in my pocket.
Buffered salt doesn't 'sting' as much as plain salt water. You can use a new method like Nasopure, or the vintage, Netipot
You can do this as often as you like with no side effects.
You don’t need a prescription for this therapy. So if you live in a state like mine, they’ve pretty much “outlawed” sudafed medicine. Drug-free is really the way to go on a frequent-use basis. (I put in a link for “what” and “how” – there’s also some good info on wiki)
Honey tell your parents. They can take you to a doctor.
Especially because of the nosebleed I would recommend seeing your dr to have this evaluated.
No it's not normal and your parents or guardian should take you to see a Doctor and don't forget to mention (both headache and nosebleed). Good Luck!
headache, nosebleed and being 12 years old have no relationship to one another.

Is it normal to get your period after haven taken the EC(emergency contraceptive)pill?

Is it normal to get your period after haven taken the EC(emergency contraceptive)pill?
"Temporary disruption of the menstrual cycle is also common and may manifest as early or late periods, spotting or breakthrough bleeding, and (less commonly) missed periods. The primary mechanism of EC is delaying ovulation. Menstruation occurs, on average, 14 days after ovulation, so delayed ovulation results in delayed menstruation. Suppression of ovulation may cause anovulatory bleeding, which could manifest as an early period."
You should have a pregnancy test ... just in case
Yes that is what happens when you use it.
I used it once and I did not get any bleeding but the package instert said that there may be. Why not call your doctor orf phamacist and ask them? You can always call a different pharmacy than the one you go to just to be annonymous.

Is it normal to get your period a few days later than you got it last month?

for example: last month i got my period on the 9th of February and today is the 11th of March and i still havent gotten it. is that normal? Is it normal to get your period a few days later than you got it last month?
same thing happened to me this month (last month really). i started my period on february 7th and i still haven't gotten it yet. i know i'm not pregnant. it could have something to do with there only being 28 days in the month of february. if you don't get your period by next week, i'd say take a home pregnancy test!
It could be perfectly normal, unless you're pregnant.
Sure, our periods sometimes take 1-2 years to regulate themselves. Some women's periods are always irregular!
yes! the month doesnt start on the same day as last month did, and some months have more days in them then others. you should be counting how many days are in your cycle, not what day it is.
plus, if you've just recently gotten your period in the last three or four years, your body could just be trying to regulate itself.
of course it is everyone is different

Is it normal to get you periods twice in a month?

I had my normal period 5 days ago, i take my pill normal. But today i started them again. Is it normal to get you periods twice in a month?
If you have taken the pill properly (and at the same time everyday) then no you shouldnt have your period twice in one month, I suggest you see you doctor. Its alaos possible to be not working if you have taken somehting that could be altering the absorbtion of the hormones, there are quite a few of minerals and supplements that could be doing it, as well as any other mediaction. Are you taking any new mediaction or tablets ? If so, look them up online to see if they affect the pill.
if your on the pill thats sopposed to regulate u no its not normal see a doc
no it is not. you may want to take a trip to your doctors. there may be something wrong
maybe the pill you taking is not strong enough for you Talk to you doctor and see what he says That's not normal Good Luck

Is it normal to get cramps while on your period?

I am just asking cuz I have only got cramps like once or twice before I got on birth control and now I don't get any. Have been on birth control for 4 yrs now. But was just wondering about that though. Is it normal to get cramps while on your period?
yes, its normal. i read in a health book that instead of taking midol or asparin, you could do light excercising or place a heating pad on your lower abdomen. 8) hope that helped.
It's normal to have cramps, and it's normal to not have cramps. Everyone is different.
    uh...yea
Yes, birthcontrol seems to lessen or eliminate the cramping we often feel prior to or during menstruation. The cramping is caused by the contraction of the uterus trying to eliminate the shedded membrane. It is normal to feel. I'm not sure why they go away when one is on the pill
tottally normal, some get em, some dont... i dont but alot of my friends do.
It is very common to have cramps but the birth control pills are keeping yours at bay. It may be that when you stop taking the pill the cramps will come back. Keep in mind that as you age your body just changes. I had cramps, then I didn't have them. After my last baby they came back. Go figure.
Birth control pills are known to reduce cramps and bleeding ,so enjoy it while it lasts.
YES, IT IS NORMAL TO GET CRAMPS WHEN YOUR ON YOUR PERIOD. DUH!!
Its normal, don't worry about it.
    yea
    yes!!

Is it normal to get anxious or nervous during your period?

?Is it normal to get anxious or nervous during your period?
    yes its normal
Only if you forget to use a tampon
yes its very normal cause i get that way all the time so dont worry
Let's see here - hormone levels shifting madly, possibility of leaking (read embarrassment), bloating, headaches, swollen breasts (uncomfortable and possible target of unwanted attention from male coworkers).....
Sounds pretty stressful to me! And stress can lead to anxiety and nervousness.
I think you're probably normal but why not pick up the phone and throw the question at your gyno? they're the pros.
Menstrual cycles bring alot of weid things. It may just be a symptom of pms or something! I wouldn't worry about it!!
What actually happens to our body when we are feeling anxious, nervous, or even panicky? Anxiety feelings normally set off an alarm reaction in our body called the "fight-or-flight" response. This response occurs to any perceived threat, whether it is physically real, psychologically upsetting, or even imaginary. Our thoughts and feelings can trigger this response; it can even occur simply when we're excited. So maybe what feeling your getting from menstruating is making you axious or nervous.
Yes especially if you have depression or an anxiety disorder.
Oh yeah! PMS lasts through the period, too.
yes this is normal.i get the same way sometimes.Sometimes i will think i bleed through and i get this feelin of nervousness.I start to panic sometimes. So this is deff normal.

Is it normal to feel drained during menstration?

Because I always feel hot and lifeless when I get my periods. Not any cramps (bit o' bloating though) but I feel as if I'm about to fall over when I stand. Most other people I've talked to about it say they don't get that.Is it normal to feel drained during menstration?
Your iron level could be low during that time.
yup it's normal. if you take vit. E before your period and exercise regularly, you won't get them as often.
Yes it is. I do that. Some don't get it as bad as others. My husband and I fight over this. Because I have absolutely NO energy. I can barely cook a meal and get through the dishes. Let alone any other housework. He just thinks I'm being lazy. Too bad. I know how I feel.
Yes, your bodies hormones are out of control which can lead to many side-effects, its normal.

Is it normal to feel cramping and slight spotting after inserting an IUD??

I just had the IUD inserted this afternoon and im feeling a bit of cramping and some spotting has anyone else had the same problems? And is it normal??Is it normal to feel cramping and slight spotting after inserting an IUD??
Unfortunately yes. It will take some time for your body to adjust. Your periods will be irregular for the first year or so. You can go from spotting to heavy bleeding. Hopefully this will level off.
It is completely normal, your doctor should have mentioned this to you so you wouldn't freak. Hope you enjoy your IUD I have had mine for four years and I love it. Especially since it has stopped my periods.
It's complete normal. I did the same thing when I had mine inserted.
well see a doc in the er that is NOT normal sounds like the doc u saw is a quack he should have told u the side effects
You are fine I had mine done 2 weeks ago. I had cramping and slight bleeding the first day. The next day I felt a little better. Today I had really bad cramping. Almost what it felt like when they were putting the IUD in. I called my doctors and they said this is going to be normal for the next few months before my period until my body gets use to the IUD.
THE IUD IS GREAT. I HAD ONE IN FOR ALMOST 4 YEARS AND NEVER HAD A PROBLEM. WHEN IT IS FIRST INSERTED YOU CAN HAVE MILD CRAMPING AND SPOTTING. THE SPOTTING CAN LAST FOR A FEW MONTHS. IF THE CRAMPING GET HORRIBLE OR THE SPOTTING GETS HEAVIER GO BACK TO THE DOCTOR. THE CRAMPS SHOULD STOP SOON.
After an intrauterine device insertion,it is normal to have abdominal cramps and slight spotting for a day or two. Report for any fever, severe cramping and bleeding.

Is it normal to experience clear, cervical discharge for seven days? I was supposed to ovulate on Wednesday.?

This is the first time I have experienced discharge for this long. I am concerned that something may be wrong with me. Is it possible to ovulate twice in one month? Is it normal to experience clear, cervical discharge for seven days? I was supposed to ovulate on Wednesday.?
Vaginal discharge, clear and odorless is normal and is not a factor for infertility or cervical dysplasia. A mucous substance expelled from the vagina and visible on the underwear is produced by the cervix and vagina. It is odorless and appears in small amounts to wash away harmful bacteria. The amount of the substance increases on intercourse and during pregnancy. Vaginal discharge, clear and odorless is normal and is not a factor for infertility or cervical dysplasia.
But you can buy a lot of self assurance if you maintain a regular check up....
go the doc if your that scard ,but clear dischage is veary normal.thats normal any other color i would question, but your fine.women only ovulate once

  • Is it normal to cramp on one side of your body when you start your menstral period?

im 38 and for years when im on my period i always feel discomfort (light cramps) on my right side or on my right side of my back. is this normal? i just thought it was my right ovary that released the egg that is now my period, and thats why it only hurts some on that side. i know i should go to a doctor but i thoought id ask yall first. Is it normal to cramp on one side of your body when you start your menstral period?
The cramps being only on the right side aren't going to have anything to do with your ovaries releasing the egg. Your egg was released from your ovary about two weeks before your period started so I wouldn't see any connection there. The ovary was done working 14 days ago.
As to the cramps only being on one side, if it is really bothersome ask your doctor. There could be something more going on that need to be taken care of, especially if it has been going on for a while now.
    It is possible
You are completely normal. Cramps vary from person to person, whether it is having one on your right left, or unfortunately all over, it's all very normal.
TIP: Drink some organic chamomile tea to ease the pain and try wearing a heating pad. It does wonders.
it is quit normal. It is usually for one side to hurt and then other times the other side will hurt. It has to do with the blood flow in the area.
Yes, it's very normal. I have some discomfort when I'm ovulating, and it's usually only on one side or the other; my cramps, while they're usually in the lower abdomen in the front (can feel like something's trying to drop out of me!), sometimes are only on one side.

Is it normal to bleed after first week of sex?

hi i'm a 16year old and after 'popping the cherry' a week ago was fine and there was no blood. but yesterday (a week later) i have been bleeding quite heavily for nearly a day now. and i know for certain it's way too early to be a period.
is this normal? seeing as it only happened after a third go?Is it normal to bleed after first week of sex?
Was the last time you had sex painful? It could be that you injured yourself somehow in the process. If it continues for too much longer you should probably go see a professional and make sure nothing abnormal is going on
That is wieird. you are supposed to bleed on the day when you "pop the cherry".
You might be pregnant. Are you on birth control? You can get pregnant the very first time you have sex.
It could be an early period, but it sounds to me like you need to see your doctor and discuss birth control options that are appropriate for you.
No, you shouldn't be bleeding now. You should only bleed a little if at all the same day you first have sex.
Either your period is early, or there's something wrong. Go your doctor's to find out.
i would wait a day and then go see the doctor no matter what happens. because you never know and it is always good to check up. also if you dont mind...what is a 16 year old girl doing having sex? but anyways hope nothing is wrong.
U should bleed if u had sex for the first time before first week.and not a week later.if u have used any contraceptives such as any pills it could be the reason as there are many side effects of these pills.so now dnt wait further go to a gynecologist n frm next time dnt take any such contraceptives without any consultation from doctor instead use a condom.
    consult ur doctor immediatley.

Is it normal to bleed a little after a straight forward smear?

Had a smear done the other day and experienced spots of blood after the procedure only lasted a few hours. I am a little concerned coz never bled before after a smear and wondered if it was a sign of anything else. I am at the moment ttcIs it normal to bleed a little after a straight forward smear?
It's normal. The cervis has thousands of tiny capilaries in it and when disturbed, one or more might bust. It's not a problem. In fact, you might notice this more once you concieve and have sex with your husband. Sometimes just bumping the cervix will cause a capilary to break.
    Nothing to worry about.
Hey, good luck trying to get you baby!!
    it is very normal
Yes, it's not uncommon to bleed a little as the doctor scrapes live cells off the cervix with a brush so it can be irritating.
it could b normal but still get checked out b/c u don't know what it could b u might need treatment if it isn't normal
It is very common to have a little bit of spotting after the pap smear - Very normal and should not last more than a few days
yes this is quite normal. i wouldn't worry to much about this if i was you. but if you are concerned then a visit to your doc maybe able to put your mind at rest. better to be safe then sorry.

Is it normal that your period does not came on date?why?

Is it normal that your period does not came on date?why?
Yes, your cycle is just not regular. Although if you are sexually active, you may be pregnant.
mine does not either its normal
Some women can set their watch by when their period begins, others are never regular to a specific day or time of day...also, women who spend a lot of time together will find their periods will eventually all be around the same time, which means that the date they occur on will change as their bodys get in synch with the bodies of the women they are associating closely with.
If you are young and haven't had your period for a real long time, chances are it may just not have become regular yet. Most women can predict within a day or two when they will get theirs, and when on birth control (esp the pill) can tend to predict it right on the day.
Periods tend to be on about a 28 day cycle so since months typically have more than 28 days, it won't tend to happen on the same date every month anyway...some women make that counting mistake and don't count 28 days (from when you start) but think of it occuring on the same day each month (the 3rd or the 17th, etc).
yeah its totally normal !! i was supposed to come on thursday and now its saturday trust me its nothing to worry about.

Is it normal that woman will tent to urine frequently and its painful after having sex?

I had sex with my bf, and he did it quite hard and fast. Then the next day I had this frequent urine bit by bit and it painful. I ever had it before but this time there's blood. I had it for 2 day and its getting better. Is it normal and do I need to seek for a doctor checkup? Is it normal that woman will tent to urine frequently and its painful after having sex?
well is sound like UTI. nothing serious acually just buy cranberry juice and drink. fast solution. i have it quite often.
    sounds like a bladder infection
sounds like a urinary tract infection - bladder infection. I don't know about the bleeding though, I've never experienced that with a UTI.

Is it normal that my hips haven't widened?

I'm a 16 year old girl, about 5'5-6 and about 130 pounds. My hips have barely grown an inch since I was 12 even though I've grown several inches since then. They're about 33 inches now and completely undefined. Is this normal? Is it normal that my hips haven't widened?
Of course it's normal.Every body's bodies change many times throughout there lives. You haven't even stopped growing yet so u might change shapes a couple more times. That is where cloths come in to help with the outside look.U can use cloths to make your shape more even.If u measure your shoulder from arm to arm n your hips same way u will see that they usually r the same width. If not n 1 is bigger then the other still needs to catch up.Not sure if u get what I mean, but your hips and your shoulder width r the same measurements.Don't worry even when u stop growing your body still changes .You'll see as u get older.I look better now at 30 n 3 kids later then I ever did as a teenager, so hang in there it gets better. In the meantime though use your clothing to make yourself look the way u want.Bye 4 now and have a wonderful day.
    be greatfull.
I never had hips either untill I had my first child! You will have them someday!!!

Is it normal or means something that your partner wants to have sex in the anus?

I'm 22 years old girl, the first time that i had sex for the fist time in my life was in the anus, because my boyfriend said i would'nt lost my virginity, and i didn't like it, but everytime that i had my period he asked for that kind of sex and sometimes i feel weird and think all kind of bad stuff about him.Is it normal or means something that your partner wants to have sex in the anus?
The request isn't that unusual... I have to admit I've made that request (and successfully) of a few of my girlfriends. It's just another aspect of sex that some guys prefer (many I know have tried it with their girlfriends) and really some women enjoy it also. You probably could enjoy it if you were open to it, but if you're not tell your boyfriend it's not an option. It's much easier on him also to know you'll never let him do it, rather than try to talk you into it all the time and be denied. There's no reason you should do something you don't want to, especially after you tried it once.
There is nothing wrong with him just based from this fact. He is just sexually curious and likes the variety. If he continues to pressure you into it after you told him no(if that's what you want to do) then dump him, because he probably won't be happy with strictly vaginal intercourse.
stay far from him. get a new bf.
If you don't enjoy it DON'T do it.
Plenty of males like it because it's tight and a lot of females do enjoy it. Other females flat out hate it and refuse.
It's not wrong that your partner requests it but it is wrong if he's pressuring you to do something you aren't comfortable with. No loving partner that respects you will ever make you do something that you dont want to do.
If you're thinking bad things about him because he's forcing your, then he's pretty much raping you even if you give in to him.

Is it normal for sex to hurt if you haven't been sexually active for a while?

I'v e been seuxally inactive for about 3-4 months and I had se xlast night and it totally hurted. Is it normal for sex to hurt if you haven't been sexually active for a while?
There could be several things causing the pain. If the man is larger than you have had before, your vagina would have had to stretch a little bit, causing some discomfort. It could be that you didn't have enough lubrication, or perhaps he was hitting your cervix. Just to be on the safe side, you may want to have your doctor check you out.
Yes it probably needs to get back in da routine...LOL if you kno what I mean...but it shouldn't hurt for long..so you don't have nothin' to worry about...
yes it is going to hurt because things have tightened back up.
Well you could have been improperly lubed and that means there wasn't enough foreplay prior.
You could also have aquired a yeast infection which is very common amoung woman by wearing undies that are the wrong material not enough fluits in their diet or too much yeast in the diet. Could have been a onset of stress.
You could have tighened a slight bit up. Most likely not to much to cause a lot of pain. Too much friction could have caused that sensitive area to be strained.
I might get a checkup to be sure you don't have a infection.
    use lubrication,and were you aroused?
that's a fair while to be inactive:) things will get better,no worries :)
    Yes, it happens!

Is it normal for my boobs to hurt after being sucked?

Is it normal for me to have tiny Bumps on my areolas?

I noticed these miniature bumps on my areolas and I don't know if they're normal or not. They're surrounding my nipple but the bumps don't hurt. I don't have kids and no, I'm not pregnant.
Are these bumps normal??? Have any of you ladies had this before? Is it normal for me to have tiny Bumps on my areolas?

latley it's been taking longer to even get the sensation and then to get to my limaxIs it normal for it to start taking longer to climax?
Yes its normal for both men and women
Yes its normal for both women and men
You say 'lately', maybe you've been under a lot of stress lately or overworked; if your overall energy is low, so is your sexual energy. You might just be too tired to feel excited or reach an orgasm.
It can be age related, or medication/stress induced. Also any angry feelings toward your partner can play a part. ANY/ALL of those items are factors, so it's all ok, just be patient and ask your partner to go a little slower and it will all work out again :)

Is it normal for an adult woman to not enjoy sex AT ALL, and to find it painful most times?

My friends jokingly call me the "sexpert" but this is the first time I've been stumped at helping a friend with an intimate issue... she is 29, so not "drying out" and she has had two children vaginally, so I don't think it's a problem of elasticity. Her kids are old enough (4 1/2 and almost 2) that she should be healed completely for any perineum tearing in childbirth... which was minor and did not require episiotomy.
They use lube during intercourse, but she says it still hurts! Is this psychological? She says she also doesn't have a desire for it and doesn't feel physically attracted to him, but she wants to have those feelings and be a good wife because her husband is a good man. She is willing to try things to increase her desire, but what about the pain?Is it normal for an adult woman to not enjoy sex AT ALL, and to find it painful most times?
she should definitely see a doctor and they need marriage counseling.
she should talk to her doc!
it may be psychological but only an medical professional can say for sure and i am not one yet.
Oh my God!!!!! Did you know that if you tear or are cut during child birth and the doc stitches you up, or you heal on your own you can get terrible scar tissue down there!!!! By God it happened to me and sex hurt bad, standing hurt sometimes, . The scar tissue grows wrong and make the entry very very sore. I had to have reconstructive surgury, no kidding! It took an hour, the doctor,OB, went down and snipped the scar tissue and put a couple stitches in. My insurance paid it too. I never have heard anyone else with this prob. My OB. says it is rare, but happens more and more. Have her OB check her for scar tissue. It is painful, good luck! P.S after it went away and my sexual fog got better...who wants sex if it hurts!

Is it normal for a teenage girl to have an orgasm in her sleep?

I've been waking up every few days finding stuff on my mini pad that I know isn't discharge. It's white, and a bit thicker.
Could I be having orgasms in my sleep? (when I wake up, I feel "wet") Or could I have yeast infection? Is it normal for a teenage girl to have an orgasm in her sleep?
It's completely normal. It's probably not an orgasm, just an increase in normal discharge. If it itches or has a bad smell, then you should be concerned and see a doctor.
It is probably an infection, particularly if it smells bad
i always wanted to know that answer aswell you have the same problem as me
you need to go to your doc
    consult yr doctor!!!
how do u know it isn't discharge, discharge can be white and thick, and yes u can have orgasms in ur sleep but i think u would feel them if u were, it just sounds like discharge , but if it will make u fell better check with a doctor
It is completely normal....I used to have orgasms in my sleep. It is not just boys that have wet dreams. So as long as your discharge isn't a weird color (like brown, green), there's no odor, you're not itchy down there, and it has an even consistency, then you don't have an infection.
Discharge is normal...but girls aren't taught that. If it's itchy...see a doctor. If it's 'normal'...go on with your life. :)
I have the same problem,,,its normal.

Is it normal for a girl to have a stomach ache after sex?

Is it normal for a girl to have a stomach ache after sex?
    No it isnt
which one are you talking about, nausea or cramps?
it happens...usually it's just from nerves. be it good nerves or bad nerves. it usually should go away within an hour.
No - you didn't knock the bottom out with your man-ness. I have had stomach aches after just becuase of gas and stuff like that.
    I've heard about it
well it just depends ...most of the time if the boy u had relations wiht has a bigger penis it will ache up ur tummy or it might be that yall did it too hard ...good luck
no! maybe you weren't ready or he too big!
Sometimes, if he's very large, or she is going to start her period the next day, or she's all 'backed up'.
    .
Yes, it can happen, especially if the woman is small (petite) and he guy is bigger.
You are essentially getting your internal organs bashed around a bit and it can be uncomfortable and give you a stomach ache.
if u have a big one and she sits on it, yes.
yeah its normal because you just did with and for love and you might be nervous so don't worry ok enjoy having sex with your partner
I dont know if it is normal. Maybe it could be from a bacterial infection, gas, or nervousness. See an gyn
sometimes the in and out motion of sex causes air to be pushed into the vagina, which in turn could cause slight pain until it is expelled

Is it normal 4 ur breast to hurt right before ur menstral?

Is it normal 4 ur breast to hurt right before ur menstral?
yes it's completely normal. Not everyone experiences this because we are all different. No need to be concerned, just hormonal fluctuation.
for some girls it is for others its not. each girl is different
yes. It is the fluctuation of hormones

    Is it normal ?? Emergency..!!?

well, my problem is that i have a some-sort of discharges that are greenish colour but with no odour at all. and it is not only happen during the "discharge period".. it's like it happen once after my period is over.. what is wrong with me ? am i having 'bacterial vaginosis' ...??
and is there any cure for this ? cus it is really quite irritating & disgusting that i have to wear pantyliner everytime..Is it normal ?? Emergency..!!?
Bacterial vaginosis has a very distinct and very, very foul and strong odor. If there is no odor, it's likely not BV.
However, other conditions may cause colorful discharge, especially infections. It's time to see your gynecologist for a check-up and a pap smear.
Green discharge can mean Group B Strep.
You need to see your dr to check what is going on to be on the safe side.
I would recommend you see a doctor or women's health nurse. Just in case. It does not sound right and you seem upset by it. If nothing else getting professional help may aid in giving you the answers your looking for.

    Is it my period?

i had my last period in january. that was two months ago. it was my second one. i haven't gotten another one since. my other two periods were brown. is it my period? i didn't have cramps. but it was brown and it wasn't much. im 15 and yah...Is it my period?
it was most likley your period
periods are irregular when you first start them
the thrist might be related too your period its hard too say really
When in January did you get your period? It should come on an average of every 28 days. Some get it sooner, others later then that. Also, since you've only had 2 periods, it might take your body some time to regulate itself. It can be very off and on the while.
In the begging your period isn't noraml, 28 day cycle. No worrys its all normal.
yes it was but it takes a while before it becomes regular you are young but if you are worried see your doctor
it might be your period and if it is all that stuff is normal and your lucky its lite but when you are a full grown woman you will face it getting heaver i hope this helps

Is it just me? (Girls Only)?

Orgasming/masturbating speeds up your period. I had this theory in my head that orgasming would flush me out faster (of course I showered afterwards to wash it away, too) and I decided to test it this time around. Turns out after 3 1/2 days (almost 4) later I'm done with my rag... And I normally go 5 or 6. This happen to anyone else? Worth a shot! Not only do you get to get off a ton, you get done faster. Is it just me? (Girls Only)?
I've heard people say that sex will bring it on, but I've never heard that it will go away faster. Somehow I just can't see what connection the two would have, unless it's the muscle contractions when you climax pushing the blood and tissue out of you faster. I already bleed heavily enough though, if it came out any heavier I wouldn't be able to get off the toilet!
i have never heard of that
but if it works for u all the power to u

dose it hurt?Is it hard to realy have a baby not take care of have it? i want to be pregnent. (women only)?
    there is no greater joy...........
If your ready to be a parent 24/7 with no time for yourself over the next 18years. and you need means to financially support
all their needs (not expecte some else or the state to do it)and put a roof over there head.
it is always alot more good & bad than any of us thaught it would be. and yes it can hurt like hell
Yes. Alot. But theres not a greater joy in the world then a child. If you think you can't take the pain you could always get the baby cut out of your belly I beleive.
For one yes having a baby hurts and it costs a lot to take care of it. You have a baby, you take care of it. It is not anyones else's responsibility to take care of your baby.

Is it common to get a yeast infection after Mirena IUD ? Was also on antibiotic for mirena.?

I had Mirena placed on February 6 and they put my on antibiotic for 3 days to reduce chance for infection. Just yesterday I started being really itchy and now I looked down there and it is really red and swollen in some areas. Do you think I have yeast infection? I had one before but it was a long time ago but I think this is what it felt like. Any serious suggestions. I just called my PCP and got a Difucan pill. What are your opinions or ideas????Is it common to get a yeast infection after Mirena IUD ? Was also on antibiotic for mirena.?
The most likely culprit is the antibiotics. Most antibiotics are broad spectrum, meaning they don't discriminate on the kind of bacteria they kill. Pack in some extra yogurt to restabalzie the bacteria in your stomach, and lots of yogurt (consumed) has shown to help stabalize the bacteria in your girly parts.
It wont be the mirena that has given you the yeast infection. The most likely culprit is going to be the antibiotics. Diflucan should do the trick however for the external itching you can buy canesten ( clotrimazole 1%) over the counter and apply it to the external lips.
I agree with the other two answers you got. The antibiotic did it to you. I have had Mirena for over 7 months now and haven't gotten a yeast infection. My Dr didn't put me on antibiotics when I had it placed.
According to your description, this Yeast Infection site can help you:

Is it common for many female to have darker groin?

what is the effective way to whiten the dark groin? Is it common for many female to have darker groin?
its is not uncommon to have dark groins, after your groin nevers sees daylight.you would have to go out into the sun and spread eagle your legs to get a tan,ive just checked mine their dark,i dont think i have a problem though
its common and there is no reason in the world to lighten it, leave it alone, thats a very tender flesh and isnt meant to be messed with .
do females have a groin and where is it???

Is it common for a woman's cup size to increase when on the pill? What is the average amount of weight gain?

Is it common for a woman's cup size to increase when on the pill? What is the average amount of weight gain?
Yes it can be common for the cup size to go up. It has to do with water retention. I had to go up a bra size because the hormones of the pill made my breast so tender.
The average weight gain for the pill is 5-10 lbs and that is primarily water.
Well, while I was on the pill I did icrease in a full cup size. I also gained maybe 15LBs. But my metabollism is REALLY high. But, yes those side effects are natural.
it is very common for a woman's cup size to increase on the pill, in fact some women report their breasts growing up to a full cup size larger. the hormones in the pills that fool your body into thinking it's pregnant are to blame for this side effect. average overall weight gain varies but i'd say between 5 -10 pounds is normal. As long as you exercise and eat healthy weight gain shouldn't be too much of an issue.
I've just started using a low dosage pill two months ago. I actually lost 5 pounds, but my breast have gotten bigger and very tender. I don;t really mind because the weight loss makes up for it lol. But not everybody gains weight while on the pill. It all depends on how your body reacts to the hormonal changes.
I gained 10lb and went up a whole cup size whilst on the pill. Once I came off the pill the weight came off and my boobs went back to their original size.

Is it bad when a stranger tells you look pregnant?

I dont know but i have been eating a lot and yeah this dude was at our house told me i look pregnant. And i'm not over the last three days my family memebers telling me i look pregnant.. I'm 5'4 i wiegh 182 is that too much wieght..Is it bad when a stranger tells you look pregnant?
I don't know why people open their big fat mouth's and say stupid things. I had a co-worker ask me that once I just about slapped him in his face. Funny thing is that 2 month's later I did get pregnant. Your weight is a little high for your height but I think that as long as your happy with yourself who cares.
    ignore them love
    enjy ur life...!!
    dun care for others..
thats none of their business, as long as u will be really overweight and ur family is concerned abt ur health.
It depends on your age...i guess
After I had my kids, my weight seemed to be centered right in my middle. So once in awhile I'd get "Congratulations, I didn't know you were pregnant!" or "When is the baby due?" Now, they were TOTALLY serious. So the first few times this happened I was super embarrassed and so were the people who said anything. Eventually, I just decided to do something about it - - - - - I gained a lot more weight so people would just think I was fat instead of pregnant! haha!!!!
Seriously though, I regret this, because this darn weight is really stubborn and won't come off now. And now I must lose it for health reasons.
Well, if you are not pregnant then yes!
    At 5ft4, 182lb is almost 40lb overweight.
    HTH : )

Is it bad to wear a bra while sleeping?

Is it bad to wear a bra while sleeping?
I dont think it has any long term effects! However, I would presume it constricts your breathing. At night you are lying down so you are already contstricting your breathing by a small amount, sleeping with a bra will just add to this. If you are asthmatic this wont help.
I used to sleep in my bra at one point, but I stopped because I started to notice that it would cut into my skin under my breasts.
no it keeps your breasts from heading down south
Heard that it cuts off circulation.
I wear a bra sometimes when I sleep. It has never been a problem for me.
its not bad, but they can dig in, on the otherhand it stops your puppies sagging :)
    no pain no gain ey...
you shouldnt wear a bra while sleeping because they are used to support you .
my grandma always tells me it makes them smaller. but then again, old wives tale. plus, it could be uncomfortable.
no i do and they dont hurt as bad wen you wake up

Is it bad to pee in the shower??

Is it bad to pee in the shower??
No, I do not think it is bad.... the soap & water will wash it all away...
No it is not bad to pee in the shower. I do it from time to time. The water of the shower will wash the urine down the drain.
It depends if you are a hygienic person. If you really have to go it's okay. But you really should use the toilet. That's what it's there for.
Why can't you use the toilet like an adult instead of peeing in the tub/shower like a little kid?

Is it bad to cross your legs?

i have sat with my legs crossed at the knee probably starting when i was around seven now i am fourty. i cross them every time i sit down, and always with the same leg right over left. eventually after a long period of crossing, my top leg gets numb. i have heard that crossing your legs can cause vein problems, back problems, and hip problems, i dont have any at all, but is this true that it is bad? do you cross your legs also? and are you aware it might be bad?Is it bad to cross your legs?
I have heard that is bad too. I am 20, and I have a habit of crossing my legs as well. I actually am starting to see some veins and that type thing, so... I am trying to quit doing that while I am still young, so that mine do not get worse.
It is considered the proper thing to do when wearing a skirt.
I have never heard of it being bad for your back or hips.
I certainly don't want vein, back or hip problems so I guess I am going to have to find a different way to set. :(
For long periods of time, crossing your legs could constrict the blood veins in your legs causing poor circulation and resulting in varicose (unsightly) leg veins.
I've never heard of back and hip problems caused by crossing your legs, but I have heard that it increases pressure significantly and makes it difficult for blood to travel through veins, therefore resulting in unsightly varicose veins. I read in Cosmo that it's okay to cross your legs, but switch which leg you have on top and if sitting for a long period of time, stand up or walk around. Hope I helped!
I've never heard of that. I cross my legs everytime I sit down but they're not crossed the entire time.

Is it at all possible that my boss was not aware that her breast was rubbing on my arm at work?

Is it at all possible that my boss was not aware that her breast was rubbing on my arm at work?
can i get a job there? ahahaha!
Of course it was possible. You cant assume there was any hidden agenda. See if anything happens next, just to make sure.
doubtful. i know if someone even brushes by me and touches my cheast......we can feel those sort of things. so either she didnt care or she was doing it on purpose
you need to explain the situation a bit better. did she walk past you, was she leaning over etc all can be perfectly normal and she may not have noticed
Start doing terrible work, and if you still get great performance ratings, you'll know the answer.
that depends on how big it was ?
It's very possible. Depending on the amount of padding in her bra, she might not have felt a thing.

Is It alright to like getting your period?

I have no cramps or pms. Nothings wrongIs It alright to like getting your period?
well you have no pain so why wouldn't u not like getting your period... if you were in pain and you liked it i would think something is wrong
Nah. Used to be that way for me too until I started having kids. I would much rather enjoy my period than be miserable with it.
As long as you don't try to do anything with it.
yeah its fine to like getting your period i dont really mind getting my period either cause that just means i can eat whatever i please which is awesome since im on a diet all the other time.
If you have a blood fettish...Whatever floats your boat i guess. No pun intended

Of course it's alright. I mean, if you have no problem it's fine. I sometimes do because it makes me feel more resposible sometimes. And that I am able to take care of my own self. Which is totally cool. :)

  • Is it alright for a woman to masturbate a few times a day and have orgasm? Will it affect her health in anyway

Is it alright for a woman to masturbate a few times a day and have orgasm? Will it affect her health in anyway
Perfectly healthy way to reduce tension. Make sure all of your toys are well cleaned afterwards, you wouldn't want to get an infection down there. Once you get your technique down, you can show your partner how you like to do it.
That's perfectly fine! If anything it will help a woman to have an orgasm with a man more easily. This will only make her health better actually. It's said that orgasm can strengthen the immune system.
It is fine to do this. It is also healthy.,
Thats Ok...it wont affect much. really.
There is no health consent for masturbate. But over masturbate may affect one stimulation on normal sex.
As long as it's in private it's fine. Just don't go getting arrested for doing it somewhere you shouldn't ;)

    Is it a regular period???????

i used a day after pill and then got my period so soon like 5 days after. and i have previosly had my period a week and a half before that. is is a regular period , or is it just like a fake period? Is it a regular period???????
First I would welcome it, since it is always a sign that the pill worked (or you might have not needed it) but anyways it could be a fake period since you are kind of misleading your body by taking the pill. I once took it and got it earlier too, about a week earlier than normal and then after that it was back to the same schedule as before I took the pill. Hope it helps!
Probably if it came at the same time as it did last month or around that time.
i am not sure but you should go to see a doctor, you could be having symptoms from the morning after pill.

    Depends.... yes and no.....

Is it a bad thing when your breasts hurt?

Is it a bad thing when your breasts hurt?
breast can hurt for numerous reasons...but more times than not it is beign... age plays a factor... are you just entering puberty or are you already into menopause?...are you pregnant? is it reoccurring or all of a sudden?.... if it continues seek your obgyn's help...
Are you pregnant? Do you have cysts? It could be anything. It's best to see your doctor so she/he can find out through testing.
no, generally just means you are in a stage of your cycle like ovulation or during your period. the more you pay attention to it you'll notice that your breast change all month long. good luck
it is a very bad thing if your breasts hurt u best go to a doctor in get it checked out

Is it a bad thing that i have been on my peroid for 9 days now?

Is there somthing wrong with meIs it a bad thing that i have been on my peroid for 9 days now?
There is probably nothing wrong, but if this happens a lot it wouldn't hurt to see a gynecologist, especially if your periods are heavy. Don't panic, just keep track of it (maybe document it in a journal or on the calendar) and let your mother or doctor know.
    No... Is it heavy??
You probably just have a abnormal flow...
If its the first time, then you may just have had more blood than usual... Have you been sexually active? If you have then your body is really getting ready for a baby, so it causes more blood...
    Don't worry...
But if it is really bothering you... talk to your doctor, or mom... they can help more than us!
either an abnormal flow or you have endometriosis. Have it checked out. Good luck.
if it is heavy ... yes! if it is spotting a few days before and after, no. dont worry about it and mention it at your next OBGYN appt.

Is it normal to pass out a lot of clot during menstruation?

every mouth during my period my pass a lot of clot. however this mouth it seems worse.i thought i was pregnant but my period came ,but with all this clot.is it a miscarriage.or is normal. Is it normal to pass out a lot of clot during menstruation?
If this happens occasionally or is mild, it is not usually a problem. If you consistently pass large clots, this could signify a problem. Seek medical attention. Heavy menstrual bleeding is called menorrhagia. Look it up for more information on causes. Can lead to anemia. There are treatments available such as birth control pills, endometrial ablation (destruction of the uterine lining) - in severe cases as a last resort hysterectomy.
First, it is MONTH, not MOUTH (mouth is what you eat with).

    Yes, it is normal.
Periods are the shedding of the uterus, so you will see tissue (clots) and that is normal.
As for knowing if you had a miscarriage, you see a doctor to find out.
I would definitely recommend going to your GYN to find out if you're concerned. It is normal for me personally to have clots in my menstruation. When I had my miscarriage I had more clotting and much more pain. If you are having intense pain, not the normal pain, it will probably be at least 10 times more painful if you are having a miscarriage. But please check with your GYN, its not a long drawn-out process, just make an appointment and go in. I wish you the best of luck. God bless.
it could be either - alarge clot may be an early miscarriage, but it might also be very normal - you said you often have clots so it might just be a heavy month - ask your doctor

Is irregular periods causing me to gain more weight?

well im 15 going on 16 and ever since i first started my period ive noticed that the i go 3 months in a row with a regular period and ill lose weight but when i skip a couple months i start gaining weight again. Is irregular periods causing me to gain more weight?
It does cause you to gain weight because you have an increase in the amount of blood and tissue that your body is holding in the area and so as it builds up that gains weight
no, but this irregular period could be related to your thyroid, which could be the cause of your weight gain. see your doctor soon and tell them exactly what's happening with your menstrual cycle. they can check your thyroid with a blood test and rule out any other problems.
YES, YOU COULD BE GAINING WATER WEIGHT CAUSE YOU NEED TO HAVE A PERIOD ..YOU COULD GO ON BIRTH CONTROL PILLS ..TO HELP REGULATE YOU!
Most likely gaining wait is causing your body to irregular. When you start to loose wait is when your body regulates back out. You should see your doctor. Many different things can affect this, STDs, pregnancy, stress, cancer. Have it checked out.
my daughter is going thru the same thing, i did take her to the docters. being irregular at this age is normal. only worry if your sexually active of course. as far as gaining weight you will go up and down more so as a teen based on food intake, types of foods and excersizeing habits.
No! I have irregular periods since I was 12. I am 18 and I weight 108 lb, never gain weight. You shoulc control what you eat and exercise!

Is irregula menstrual cycle possibly the cause of her not getting pregnant? If yes, what can be done?

Is irregula menstrual cycle possibly the cause of her not getting pregnant? If yes, what can be done?
Yes, an irregular menstrual cycle, depending on the cause, can make it difficult to achieve pregnancy. What needs to be done is for her to see her gynecologist. He may try a course of clomid or another drug to see if he can regulate her period and increase her chances of conception but he may want to do testing before prescribing the medication (this varies from doctor to doctor). Have her schedule an appointment as soon as possible. Good luck!
who do you mean "her", your wife or girlfriend???
yes, an irregular period may mean that she is not ovulating (releasing an egg every month). without an egg she cannot get pregnant. see a gynecologist who can send you to a fertility doctor. there is a drug called clomid that can bring on regular ovulation, to help her get pregnant. you have to get it from your doctor.

Is i wee after sex will it stop urinary infections?

Is i wee after sex will it stop urinary infections?
No, see a doctor, stop drinking caffiene and other antagonizing drinks. Try Cranberry juice, it is said to help. SEE A DOCTOR
It can help prevent them. Go to WebMD.com for more info.
If you are currently dealing with symptoms that could relate to a urinary tract infection I would recommend seeing your dr to find out if it is a urinary tract infection.
Not as much as the two of you being clean to start with. Make it part of the fore play.

Is chocolate bad for your skin?

Is chocolate bad for your skin?
No it is just a myth.
    No, old wives' tale.
not Necessarily. bad skin is mostly from genes, hormones or stress, but if you have food that makes ur skin break out, avoid it.
Chocolate actually has antioxidants in it that help your skin.
Obviously, everything that you take into your body, put on your body, and put around your body affects it, but chocolate is not specificly bad for your skin, that's just a wives' tale. Now, having a healthy diet will improve your skin greatly, which means lots of veggies, fruits, whole grains, etc. This does not mean that the occationally chocolate treat won't hurt you, but actually improve your mood and discourage unneeded stress that will cause pimples. Of course, if your diet consist solely of chocolate sweets then your skin will suffer.
It is good for your skin. If you go to hearshy in PA they make chocolate. They also have a hotel ... which is the hershy hotel.... and they have spas were they cover you in chocolate. I'm pretty sure that they know what they are doing... otherwise they would have many complains and wouldn't be doing it.
Not unless your alergic to it...its an old wives tale about chocolate being bad for skin....Someone came up with that one so they didnt have to share...lol
all the sugar, unnatural fats, and added chemicals is probably the problem with most commercial chocolates, not the cacoa ( the actual essence of the chocolate) itself. Is birth control effective the first day you take it after your period ends?

I take birth control regularly every month.. while on my period I know the pills in the pack are inactive pills used as everyday reminders.. when my period ends and I transition back from the inactive pills to the active ones am I protected from pregnacy with that first active pill.. say if I had sex the day after my period ended? Is birth control effective the first day you take it after your period ends?
Yes, if you take the pills regularly and don't miss they are 99.99% effective. The active pills contain hormones which prevent you from shedding the uteran wall (menstruation), when you go on the innactive pills you lack the hormone and therefore start your period. You won't ovulate duiring this time and so you won't get pregnant. As a reminder in order to make sure that you are protecting yourself properly it is recommended that you take the pill at the same time daily.
Defiantly. If you have been on birth control for more than one month it will be enough to sort your cycle out. You do not ovulate again even with out the pill until around 10 days later regardless so you will be fine.

Is anyone on the contraceptive implant? i have been on the pill for years but i am not getting on with it!!?

HELP!!!! has anyone had any bad side effects? Over emotional? gained weight? had excess bleeding? Is anyone on the contraceptive implant? i have been on the pill for years but i am not getting on with it!!?
I have the contraceptive implant and it is fine, you do not gain weight like you do with the depo and you can just forget about it for 3 years too
The only side effect i know is that this type of pill actually switches off the hormone that makes you attractive to the opposite sex. We are all attracted, unconsciously through smell.
In effect you actually smell 'bad.'
Funnily enough, when my daughter found out about this she deliberately had the injected pill so her boyfriend wouldn't bug her so much. Sure enough, it works.
The best way for you to find out the answer is to talk to your gp or family planning nurse. As they say, it all varies depending on the individual. I used to be on the pill for 3 days only and i have to stop as im not getting on well with it and need to switch to a progesterone-only pill. If you have the injection, it is good BUT mind you, it is not advisable for you to have this as it competed with your body for calcium which may result to some bone conditions. Ask your gp advises regarding this matter and have a think about it. Take your time thinking through all the options and then, come up with a sure decision.
i did have the mirena coil for almost ten years the second one i had put in caused alot of problems with infections and stuff so be carefull it doesnt make you put on weight and it stops your periods but overall i dont think they r very good

Is anyone on cerazete bithcontrol the pill?

I find that it has changed my periods I don.t get them any more I just came on after not having one for 5 months, any surgestions as to which one would be better for me .Is anyone on cerazete bithcontrol the pill?
Any good doctor starting a patient on any pill should explain what effects are to be expected. It appears your doctor may have failed to do so.
The standard information I would give a woman starting on Cerazette, which is I might say a considerable improvement over older progesterone pills, is as follows:
For the first 3-6 months all women put on mini pills may suffer from what is called dysfunctional or erratic bleeding. After this time increasing numbers of women stop having periods at all as they continue this type of pill, such that at 1 year as many as 70% of women are period free.
This means that in your case Cerazette is doing exactly as expected, the only problem was that this was not explained to you.
I took cerazette for six months and only had one period the first month i was on them but that worked for me. if i were you i'd talk to your doctor and tell them what has happened and they will recommend one based on your history.

Is anyone fed uo of all the vaginal problems?!!?

hi, just been readin the questions and realised how much we women have to deal with, its frustrating! i get thrush a lot & dnt know what to do. Ive just got it and the last time i got it was november, i thought i got rid of it permenatly by nt douchin and eating yoghurt occasionally but i obviously didnt. Should i just grin and bear it because the itching only come on now and again. I dont see the point of treatin it , if its just gonna come back again! anyone else in a similar situation? Think i might get some pessaries 1 more time, and try eating yoghurt everyday (which i HATE) what do you think??Is anyone fed uo of all the vaginal problems?!!?
eat a bunch of yogurt, drink lots of water, and DONT douche. If you have to douche then only do it about once a month. Douching is very bad for your body, although it may make you feel better and smell nicer it takes all of the good bacteria out of you, the bacteria that is needed to fight off infections. This is probably what has been causing your repeated thrush. Try treating it one more time and DONT douche...that would be my only advice.
they say douching ruins the balance in your vagina

    Is anyone already on Loestrin?

I'm going to start taking Loestrin on sun. I've never taken any kind of BC pills before. So now I''m going crazy!!! Can anybody help me?? Are the side effects has bad as they sound or will i be fine??Is anyone already on Loestrin?
    Hello!
Yes--I'm on it and have been for almost 2 weeks. I have had some side effects, nothing serious, the worst being that I have a little insomnia in the middle of the night and am extremely tired during the day. I am going to stick with it, though, to see if I really do get a shorter period (which is why I went on it!)....and maybe as my body adjusts to the hormones the side effects will decrease...I found a website about the drug which helped me alot, which is like a forum for hundreds of other women who are on this pill to post their side effects and comments. = ) Here's the link, and good luck... If it doesn't appear as a link, copy and paste into your web browser:

Hey! Yes, I have been on Loestrin for about a month now, and my gyno told me all the side effects possible, but I havn't gotten one! But I"m 15, so maybe it only effects a certain age group? I really don't know, but i've been fine! It's really nice knowing you can control when your periods come, and since its birth control, it also cuts your chances of pregnancy. Hope I helped!

Is anger a LEARNED BEHAVIOR AND CAN IT BE CHANGED???

Is anger a LEARNED BEHAVIOR AND CAN IT BE CHANGED???
It's not anger that's a learned behavior, but rather how anger is handled. My husband doesn't handle anger well at all, and our son is picking it up.
Yes, how a person handles anger can be changed if they are willing to change it.
    yes and yes

Is anal sex medically harmful for women?

Is anal sex medically harmful for women?
If it is not done carefully, it can cause some medical problems. The key is plenty of lubrication. If you do not use enough lubrication you can cause tears in the lining of her rectum. Feces can get in these tears and cause an infection. If the infection is not taken care of, a worst case scenario is that it could abscess through the rectum and into the vagina. Then she would have an even worse medical problem to deal with.
use lube, it shouldn't hurt, if it does take it slower, don't use a numb agent. Pain is a good indicator to take things slower or to even stop
Use a product that helps to relax your sphincter muscles. Also, use lots of lube!

Only if he (or she) goes from you butt to you coochie. With out cleaning off the Felice first. Other wise have yourself a good time. Practice on yourself a few times first. Try an enema first.
