Is it normal to bleed after first week of sex?

hi i'm a 16year old and after 'popping the cherry' a week ago was fine and there was no blood. but yesterday (a week later) i have been bleeding quite heavily for nearly a day now. and i know for certain it's way too early to be a period.
is this normal? seeing as it only happened after a third go?Is it normal to bleed after first week of sex?
Was the last time you had sex painful? It could be that you injured yourself somehow in the process. If it continues for too much longer you should probably go see a professional and make sure nothing abnormal is going on

i would wait a day and then go see the doctor no matter what happens. because you never know and it is always good to check up. also if you dont mind...what is a 16 year old girl doing having sex? but anyways hope nothing is wrong.
U should bleed if u had sex for the first time before first week.and not a week later.if u have used any contraceptives such as any pills it could be the reason as there are many side effects of these pills.so now dnt wait further go to a gynecologist n frm next time dnt take any such contraceptives without any consultation from doctor instead use a condom.
