I'm on birth control.. and I finished my period, then 5 days later, I start bleeding again.. is this normal?

First, I started my period about a week earlier than I usually do. Then my period lasted a week, when it usually only lasts about 3 days. Then it stops.. and about 5 days later, I start bleeding again? Is this normal? Go the Dr.There could be something wrong, like a miscarriage of a polyp/tumor in the uterus

It sounds like you need to make a trip to your doctor and have your birth control dose adjusted. Your doctor might want to do a routine exam just to be safe (always a great idea) but it sounds like you just need a prescription adjustment.
Have you missed any of your pills and if you have then this is why. You should go to the doctor and maybe ask for a stronger dosage or maybe you're.....
This happened to me...I was pregnant...then not.
Go talk to the DR. If not then at least call and find out from him what he thinks...this may be serious. (or not) doesn't hurt to find out.
If you are on one of the "low dose" pills there may not be enough hormone for your body. You probably need a stronger dosage of birth control pill. Your doctor will probably switch the brand you're currently on.
hey thats just like mine.. but i got the depo shot about 2 months ago........ NEVER EVER GETTING IT AGAIN
my period has been replaced with brownish colored stuff... i cant wait till this shot wears off.
