Im 10 wks preg n bin called back after vaginal swab??

Hi i went to the doctors as i was having a yello discharge and docs sed it was normal in pregnancy but to b on safe side took a low vaginal swab. Yesterday i had a call back asking me to go in on 1st march (11 days away and time that i would be 12 weeks pregnant) about the swab results. If the results were ok then i wouldnt have had a call back which means something is wrong....but what could it be?????? the discharge i only found twice after going to the toilet and thats it and the doc sed it was normal in pregnancy. Its not possible for me to have an sti and surely if it was an infection they would leave me antibiotics prescription at the counter...... im so worried about me and baby,,, any one got any ideas what they could have found?????Im 10 wks preg n bin called back after vaginal swab??
It could mean a number of things honey, a yeast infection is most likely, and is not harmful to the baby if taken care of. It could also be Chlamidia, or Ghonorhea. Don't stress it I'm sure you are fine, all those things are curable. Best of luck sweetie!
Most medical practices call people in anyway regardless of the result, as they are not allowed to discuss over the phone, as they dont know who they are talking to for sure (confidentiality).
Do not worry, if the result is positive and detrimental to the health of you and your babe, they would have asked you to go in straight away.
my doctors are the same panic you for nothing then make you wait ages!!
they cant dicuss health issues over the phone or just leave prescriptions it could just be a case of thrush but they will need to tell you what you can and cant do and take etc while pregnant
is it possible to phone to get earlier appt or contact midwife to find out for you?
coould you have thrush? it can be very common in pregnant women .
